Anjoli Michelle (AnjiViolin) is a violinist, arts leader, and Founder of I, Muse, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to building and inspiring community through music, shared creativity, and collective growth.

Her musical journey began in early childhood, inspired by Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. She trained at leading programs including the Levine School of Music and the Meadowmount School of Music, and was selected as a 2019 Sphinx Organization SphinxConnect: Leaders Rising Fellow. She also participated in the global LOVE Project 2020, performing in the world’s largest virtual orchestral recording of Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture.

Anjoli studied Violin and Orchestral Performance at Shenandoah Conservatory and is an honors graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she was selected as a GRAMMYU Member in 2021. Her additional training includes the Juilliard Starling-Delay Symposium, Encore Festival & School for Strings, and Shenandoah Conservatory Summer Festival. She has performed in masterclasses for Itzhak Perlman, Sarah Chang, Mark O’Connor, and Michelle Kim.

She has performed at major venues including The Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, and Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

Her orchestral experience includes performances with the Baltimore Symphony (2018), Symphonicity (2014–2025), and the Northern Neck Orchestra (2025–present). During the Symphonicity 2022–23 season, she performed with GRAMMY Award–winning guitarist D.J. Sparr on his original composition for guitar and violin, Vim: Hocket, Calm.

An avid chamber musician, Anjoli has performed multiple original works, including Joseph Umstead’s Sounds of Love for marimba and violin (August 2025). She has also been featured on symphonic collaboration recordings, including Jae Sinnett’s Live at the Sandler with Symphonicity, which received a VEER Music Award in 2023.

Additional highlights include recording for Irish artist Sarah Croker’s debut album Meet the Day, performing solo violin for Colonial Williamsburg’s Hennage Auditorium production of A Holiday Medley (2025), and performing the iconic violin solo in The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” during an East Coast tour.

Through I, Muse, Anjoli creates spaces where inspiration ignites within, creativity is shared, and music serves as a catalyst for meaningful connection and impact.
